Small leather journal with brass etching of Jesus Christ, white leather with gold tooled decoration, tea stained pages

This small journal is hand bound in antiqued white leather and decorated with a brass etching in miniature representing Jesus Christ on the front cover. The rest of the decoration of this mini notebook is tooled in detail with gold foil to reassemble a medieval treasure. The brass piece is protected within a raised border I build around it like a frame with brass brads placed at each corner. The etching was made by a Romanian artist. 

The book measures 4.2 x 5.3 inches (10.5x13.5 cm). It has 102 pages (204 sides) of hand torn Modigliani artist quality paper (140gsm) that was antiqued by staining with tea. The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with brown and black veins on an ocher background. 

This little book is one of a kind. It would make a perfect prayer book or personal journey journal. I hope it will inspire you and bring you joy.
