Vintage Leather Journal, Worn brown leather, Silver Cross
This old looking journal is made of a worn piece of leather that came from an old handbag. As all my vintage leather journals, it is one of a kind. It has patina that shows the charm of a book with history. I wanted to preserve the leather just as it was in its original state but to give it an unique feature so I added an antiqued silver square cross on the front and the back covers.
The notebook measures 4.7x6.2 inches (12 x 16 cm), it has 156 pages (212 sides) and is filled with hand torn Conqueror laid cream paper (90 gsm).
The endpapers are made of marbled paper with grey, black, white and orange veins. The headbands are hand sewn using silver and black threads.
This journal has a lot of character and will make a beautiful addition to your books collection. I hope you will enjoy!
