Black Leather Journal with gold floral decoration. Chronicles of the Soul

This elegant journal is bound in black goatskin with a slight antiqued finish on the surface. The cover is decorated in fine detail with floral motifs which gives it a romantic precious look. The decoration was made with heated brass tools, each element at a time, using a combination of free hand tooling and ornaments like flowers, leaves and fine points.

The book measures 10.2 x 7.3 inches (26 x 18.5 cm).  It has 126 paqges (252 sides) and it is filled with Favini Laguna paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 160 gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.

The headbands are sewn from black, grey and metallic gold threads. They create a beautiful model at the head and the tale of the book. The endpapers are made of marbled Lokta paper.
