Antique pink leather journal with hand marbled decoration - An Old Romance

This one of a kind journal is bound in antiqued pink leather which I hand dyed myself with marbled patterns. It has hues of pink to purple grey and it's design is simple yet fascinating with its rich texture. I designed this collection of marbled journals to remind of classical antiqued tomes but with a bold colorful look.

The book measures 7.3x10.2 inches (26 x 18.5 cm). It is filled with artist quality paper, it has 130 pages (260 sides) of Favini Prisma, ivory white color, blank, 160 g/m². The paper is hand torn and works for any media including watercolor. It is acid free and does not bleed through.

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with white, black, pink and red veins. The headbands are hand sewn from red and black thread and make a beautiful decoration at the head and tale of the book.
