Brown leather journal with gold tooled decoration, The Golden Bloom

This medium size journal is bound in brown leather and tooled with gold foil. I designed it to have a vintage luxurious aspect. The decoration was hand tooled in detail, each small element at a time.

The book measures 5.1 x 6.9 inches (13 x 17.5 cm). It is filled with Favini Tree Free paper, which is made solely with annual plants to reduce pressure on forests. It contains 75% bamboo and 25% cotton linters. These high quality fibres give a smooth and natural look as well as a soft touch finish. This paper it will hold well ink and dry media.

The headbands are hand sewn with beige and brown colored threads. The endpapers are made of decorative paper with brown and gold swirls.
