Gray Green Leather Journal with Tooled Decoration - Dreaming is Golden

This book is hand bound in antique goatskin, grayish green color with a black square pattern. I designed it to have an old aspect, to look like a mysterious tome from a shelf of an ancient library. The decoration I chose for the cover is very detailed and with a classic aspect, matching the overall aged look of this book. It was made by blind and gold tooling with heated brass tools, each element at the time.

The book measures 7.5 x 8.3 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has 126 pages (252 sides) of Favini mixed media artist paper. The paper is white, with a smooth tooth, hand torn and has 180 g/m². It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor. 

The end pages are made of marbled paper with gray, yellow, black and red veins. The headbands are handsewn from green and gold threads to make a beautiful decorative element at the tale and head of the journal.
